We offer six class types: Gentle Yoga, Trauma-Informed Yoga, Special Needs Yoga, Chair Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Gentle Flow. Every class emphasizes functional mobility and accessibility, with modifications available for all bodies and experience levels.
Do I need experience to attend classes?
No experience is needed at all. Most of our classes are designed for all levels, including complete beginners. Our instructors use invitational language and offer modifications so you can practice at your own pace and comfort level.
What should I bring to my first yoga class?
Just bring comfortable clothing you can move in and a water bottle. We provide mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, and blankets for free. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to check in and set up your space.
Are classes suitable for seniors or people with disabilities?
Absolutely. We offer Chair Yoga specifically for seniors and those with mobility challenges (no floor work required), plus Special Needs Yoga with individualized support for autism spectrum, cerebral palsy, sensory processing differences, and other conditions. Every class includes accessible modifications.
How long are yoga classes at Saguaro Blossom Yoga?
Most classes run 60 minutes, including Gentle Yoga, Trauma-Informed Yoga, Special Needs Yoga, and Gentle Flow. Chair Yoga is a 45-minute session, and Restorative Yoga runs 75 minutes to allow for deeper relaxation and longer holds.
